211/First Call for Help is a 24 hour help line, available to residents in Waukesha and other counties who need immediate confidential and anonymous help and support. Services offered are crisis intervention, information on human services, emotional support, suicide intervention and more. The help line staff will direct callers to resources provided by social service agencies.
The help line is run by the Waukesha County Mental Health Association and Department of Human & Health Services.

What a disappoint this organization is--they refer you alright--from one number to call after another, resulting in untruths and false hope. An emergency is just that--urgent--not a wait and see (nothing) game. I plan on taking my personal experience further, hoping that something will change.
