Waukesha BID: New Businesses, Community Events

The latest happenings in downtown Waukesha.

NEW RESTAURANT: River Mill Foods is featuring artisan breads, homemade soups, fresh salads and cheesecake for takeout. 

NEW BUSINESS: Mango Clothing is a new, trendy women's clothing store on Clinton Street.  

NEW GALLERY: Spontaneous Gallery opened with a ribbon cutting on Saturday. Stop in to see their sculptures and art by emerging artists.

THURSDAYS: Wise Art Glass offers stained glass classes for eight weeks. You can start any week and continue for eight weeks. Be sure to check out their Glass Fusing Class schedule, too. Just scroll down on the page to find a class that fits into your schedule. 

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: Last two days for  Born Again Fitness & Nutrition's BOGO special in honor of their ribbon cutting.

 FRIDAYS: Waukesha Tattoo Company @ Galleria Edge invites you to make an appointment with Robin who is a Wisconsin State Licensed Acupuncturist and National Board Certified in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

 SATURDAYS: Sloppy Joe's on Saturday evenings is the place to stop for a homemade ice cream and try out their Hula Hoop Contest. Two new flavors of ice cream are added to the lineup.

 MONDAY: Celebrate Independence Day on the Fourth of July with a parade in Historic Downtown Waukesha.

 NEXT THURSDAY: The Center for the Development of the Person is having a Pathways to Inner Peace session. Registration required. 

 NEXT FRIDAY: Stop on in at Born Again Fitness & Nutrition for their grand opening day with drawings, light refreshments and in-store specials.

MUSIC ON THURSDAYS: The Waukesha Civic Band is celebrating 68 years of performing in Cutler Park for the Waukesha community to enjoy. Come down this Thursday, and every Thursday, through August 11. 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. All concerts are presented, weather permitting. MUSIC ON FRIDAYS: Each Friday evening through September, rain or shine, there are eight stages with live music from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Come downtown Waukesha and bring a friend for Freeman Friday Night Live where you can enjoy great music, people having fun, good food, outdoor dining, and shopping opportunities with many shops open late.
