Grocery Shop for Seniors, Interfaith Senior Programs
Volunteers are needed to help seniors and/or adults with disabilities with grocery shopping. Volunteers can either shop for or shop with a client. Dates and times can be arranged directly with clients based on mutual availability. Volunteers must have their own transportation, proof of insurance and a valid driver's license. Interfaith is located in the city of Waukesha but those needing help will be located around Waukesha.
Helpline Volunteer, Mental Health Association In Waukesha County, Inc.
Helpline volunteers provide additional support for the 211/First Call For Help helpline. We provide information about and referrals to organizations that can help individuals and families with a wide variety of needs, including food, clothing, utilities, housing, therapeutic support and crisis intervention. Helpline volunteers will answer telephone calls, and assist callers by connecting them to agencies that can meet their specific need using a computer database.
Volunteers must be over 18, and complete Telephone Counselor Training. Located near downtown Waukesha.
Antique and Classic Boat Show Concession Volunteer, Pewaukee Area Arts Council
PAAC is in need of four to six helpers for our concession stand at the Antique and Classic Boat Show on Saturday, Aug. 18, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We need volunteers to be able to work on their feet, greet the public with a smile, collect money, produce change, and deliver food to happy customers. Sign up for two-, four- and eight-hour shifts. Training provided on the job. Located on Pewaukee Lake.
