Handyman Volunteer Opportunity, LifeStriders Therapeutic Riding Center in Waukesha
This volunteer position would assist the barn manager with miscellaneous projects around the property. This could include some tasks such as painting, fixing fences, building jump standards, etc. If you are interested, please visit our website to find out more information and to fill out an application. Casino Games Assistance, Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waukesha
Feel like you're in Vegas! Help lead a casino game Thursday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center. Simple math skills will help but not necessary - having fun with our residents is the main goal of this activity. Minimum age is 18 years old. Volunteers will be trained by staff until they feel comfortable.

Mailroom Volunteer, Aurora Medical Center in Summit
Aurora Medical Center in Summit is looking for a detail-oriented volunteer who can work independently in our mailroom on Mondays and Fridays. This volunteer will sort and meter mail as well as help out with other clerical projects as needed. We are looking for a volunteer to come in for about 2 hours between the hours of anytime between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. Must be at least 18 years old. Requires a TB Test and criminal background check.

English as a Second Language Tutor, Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha
Volunteers are needed to tutor non-English speaking adults and children child one-on-one to help them improve their language skills. Volunteers meet with clients in their homes or at a local library for one to two hours per week. There is no need to be fluent in another language, just patient enough to teach! Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old and able to attend a nine-hour training. Patience and excellent communication a must.
