Good Harvest Market Making Food Donation to Local Pantry

Editor's Note: The following information was provided to Waukesha Patch from a Good Harvest Market news release.

Good Harvest Market will deliver more 1,800 organic food items to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County this Friday. This donation was made possible thanks to the generous efforts of many customers. For every $10 that customers donated to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County in the store this month, Good Harvest Market matched the donation.  A total of more than $3,000 was raised during the fundraiser. The money was then used for healthy, organic food items that will be given directly to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County.

Food items that will be donated include: organic vegetables, jelly, pasta, pasta sauce, oatmeal, cereal and more. These healthy food items will help to feed local families in need this holiday season.

The F serves approximately 5,752 people each month, half of which are children. The food pantry also helps provide individuals with hygiene items, including shampoo, soap, toothpaste and diapers.
