Area Restaurants Donating Proceeds Toward United Way

United We Dine program helps area non-profit organizations.

Sixteen restaurants throughout Waukesha County are partnering with that gives local businesses the opportunity to support the community by donating a percentage of their customers’ purchases to the United Way campaign, states a news release from United Way.

United We Dine program events will take place throughout the next several weeks. Those interested in demonstrating their support for the community’s United Way campaign are encouraged to visit the restaurants listed below and partake in the program activities. Any restaurants interested in joining the program are encouraged to call the United Way in Waukesha County office at (262) 547-8459.

Café Esperanza in Waukesha donated 100 percent of its lunch proceeds on Friday and Alpine Lanes in Muskego donated 15 percent of its lunch proceeds on Monday.

Other restuarants have upcoming events benefit the United Way:

  • Oct. 11– Around the Lakes Family Restaurant, Oconomowoc; 10 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct 12– Kurt’s Steak House, Delafield; 10 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 13– , Waukesha; 25 percent of freshly roasted by the pound coffee and 10% of food sales all day
  • Oct. 14– Cafe Esperanza, Waukesha; 100 percent of lunch proceeds
  • Oct. 15– Java Hut, Oconomowoc; 10 percent of breakfast and lunch proceeds
  • Oct. 17– , Waukesha; 20 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 18 – Armeli’s, New Berlin; 20 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 19– San Laurio Coffee, Muskego; 10 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 20– Max Meier’s Hartland Inn, Hartland; 10 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 21– Cafe Esperanza, Waukesha; 100 percent of lunch proceeds
  • Oct. 22– Kim’s Lakeside, Pewaukee; 15 percent of pizza sales all day
  • Oct. 24– (Hwy 164), Waukesha; 10 percent of proceeds from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 25– West Side Deli (inside Westwood Fitness Center), Pewaukee; 100 percent of soup sales
  • Oct. 26– Picnic Basket, Nashotah; 10 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 27– Nashotah Clubhouse, Nashotah; 10 percent of proceeds all day
  • Oct. 28– Michael’s House of Prime, Pewaukee; 10 percent of selected items all day
