Waukesha County Fair Seeking Local Artists for 171st Fair

Advance admission tickets are on sale for stocking stuffers.

Editor's Note: The following information was provided to Patch via a news release from the Waukesha County Fair.

The Waukesha County Fair Association is looking for local artists to perform at the 2013 Waukesha County Fair.

Media kits will be accepted now through Feb. 1 for the 171st Fair that runs July 17 through July 21 on the Waukesha Expo Grounds.

Media kits with music samples can be submitted to the Fair Association for consideration. Please email the kit to Shari Black at shariblack@waukeshacountyfair.com or mail it to the Fair Office: Waukesha County Fair, Attn: Shari Black, 2417 Silvernail Rd., Pewaukee, WI 53072. Media kits will be kept on file and not returned.

The Waukesha County Fair Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization that is completely separate and receives no funding from Waukesha County or the City of Waukesha. Its mission is β€œto provide quality family entertainment which preserves our rural heritage and is dedicated to educating and entertaining all ages in Waukesha County and surrounding communities.”

Now thru Dec. 31, Stocking Stuffer Advance Admission tickets for the 2013 Fair are available online: $4.50 for adult (reg. $9) and $2 for children (reg. $5).
