Today at the Fair: $2 Admission; Fairest of the Fair; Top Singer
The Waukesha County Fair begins Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Admission, Hours and Rides
Admission is $2 and parking is $2. Hours are from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Every ride is one ticket from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Fairest of the Fair Finals
The Fairest of the Fair finals will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Leinie Lodge.

Sarah Hovey, 20, New Berlin
2011 was Sarah’s eighth year exhibiting projects at the Fair. She is a member of the 4-H Food Stand Committee and works in the kitchen throughout the Fair. She has performed clogging, music, drama, and demonstrations on the Youth in Action Stage during the Fair. She is currently pursuing a Communications major with Business minor and hopes to graduate a year early from Wisconsin Lutheran College. She hopes to work in public relations or a guest services position related to the equine field.
Lynn Bartholomew, 19, Big Bend
Lynn began showing at the Fair in the Little Britches show at age 5 with her calf, Clover. Since then she has shown pigs and dairy cattle, winning numerous awards with them. She has also shown projects like stenciling, cake decorating and woodworking in the 4-H Forum. She helps the Swine Barn Superintendents, Little Britches Show, Sheep Rodeo and setup/teardown of the Annual Livestock Auction. Although she is no longer in 4-H, she still volunteers for the Fair in any way that she can. She is currently attending UW-River Falls pursuing a Marketing Communications degree. She plans to go to grad school to get a Master’s in Marketing and then working in the agricultural industry.

Ella Hopkins, 20, Oconomowoc
Ella has been involved with the Fair since she was born. Her family is very involved in the Dairy Program and helps run the All-You-Can-Drink Milk Booth. She has shown dairy cows and has submitted knitting and cooking projects as a 4-H member. She attends UW-Whitewater where she is pursuing a degree in Broadcasting, Web and Print Journalism with a minor in Marketing. She hopes to work for a radio or TV station in the promotions department or as a DJ/Anchor.
Lauren Roscizewski, 19, Eagle
Lauren has exhibited at the Fair since she was 8 years old. She has worked the 4-H activities, Ag-Venture Tent, 4-H kitchen and the information booths. She is also active in her community volunteering at food pantries and blood drives. She currently attends UW-Madison and hopes to graduate with a degree in Food Science or Chemical Engineering.
Top Singer Finals
Five area singers have advanced to the Waukesha County Fair Top Singer finals. They will compete for the chance to win $250 and to perform his or her winning song on the Miller Lite Main Stage Sunday, July 22, immediately before Craig Morgan performs at 6 p.m. The contestants are:
The finals will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Leinie Lodge.
Patch Presence
Make sure you find Patch at the fair. Spin the prize wheel for a flying disc, sunglasses, tote bag or other Patch prizes. Kids can play our putting game and get a free temporary tattoo or some bubbles.
