South/Mukwonago Wins State Swimming Championships

The Blackshirts beat Arrowhead High School by just six points to secure the state championship title.

The Waukesha South/Mukwonago girls swim team took home a state championship title this weekend.

The Blackshirts beat second-place team Arrowhead High School by six points with a final score of 279-273.

The Blackshirts beat Arrowhead by two points in 2011, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

In the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyle, Abby Jagdfeld took first place with Molly Manchon placing second. Kaersten Meitz took first in the 500-yard freestyle with Natalie Clausen taking third.The team took third in the 200-yard and first in the 400-yard freestyle relay with Jagdfeld, Manchon, Meitz and Alicia Beam.

I think you made a mistake in the 200 and 400 free relay participants names for Waukesha South. Natalie Clausen was omitted and another swimmer was named in her place. Please check stats and results for accuracy. Thank You, NAT SWIM FAN
