How Do Fans Feel About Sale of Milwaukee Bucks?

$550 million sale will keep the Milwaukee Bucks in southeastern Wisconsin.

The team may have had a dismal end to their season, ending in a record of 15-67, but area fans have hope for next year.

After all, former Sen. Herb Kohl just sold the team for $550 million to Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry. In the sale, Kohl is donating $100 million toward the new arena, which will keep the NBA team in Milwaukee. Edens and Lasry have pledged an additional $100 million toward the new center.

"My priority has always been and will continue to be keeping the Bucks in Milwaukee," Kohl said in a press release. "This announcement reinforces that Milwaukee is and will continue to be the home of the Bucks. Wes and Marc agree, and they share my commitment to the long-term success of this franchise in Milwaukee."

What do you think about the Milwaukee Bucks being sold? Are you happy they will be staying in the area?
