‘Fields of Many Dreams’ Fundraiser Nets $300K in 8 Weeks

Waukesha School District still needs to raise $1.5 million to install synthetic grass fields at all three high schools.

A community project that will install synthetic grass fields at all three Waukesha public high schools is still $1.5 million short of the fundraising goals, according to a news release sent about the Fields of Many Dreams project from the Waukesha School District.

The project will be 100 percent funded by donations and advertising.

The community donated $300,000 toward the $1.8 million project in the past eight weeks, the release states. Donations include advertising spots and private and in-kind donations.
