Fans React To Braun's Suspension: "He Didn't Man Up..."

News of Milwaukee Brewers' slugger Ryan Braun's suspension from Major League Baseball spread like wildfire yesterday across social media sites.

News of Milwaukee Brewers' slugger Ryan Braun's suspension from Major League Baseball spread like wildfire yesterday across social media sites.

Suspended for violating the Joint Drug Agreement with MLB, Braun reportedly did not contest the suspension.

So how did people react? Many are angry about how Braun has handled the matter, but others believe he can still make a come back. Here's what you said on Facebook:

Leeann Boone: They should have just left it alone after they couldn't find evidence last year. That being said he's the only Brewer that I like. I'm a Packer fan and how is this going to affect Rodgers reputation after he went to bat (so to speak) for Ryan last year and defended him saying he didn't do anything!

Tim Jandt: His legacy will be tarnished, and fans will eventually accept him back. Problem is he didn't man up and take his medicine when he got caught. Andy Petite manned up and no one talks about him now. Braun is more like Clemens now...

Renee Boehler: Another instance of an athlete continuing to lie until they have no choice but to admit the truth when confronted by the evidence. He lied to his fans, the franchise, MLB, and his teammates. Along the way he called into question the integrity of others like the person who handled the sample in his first failed test, while claiming if we only had all the facts we would see he was innocent. The reality is that he cheated the game, his team, and his fellow players. While he is deserving of forgiveness for these transgressions, our disappointment in him may not so easily disappear.

Mark Olson: Wish we knew what specifically he is admitting to. Until then I am not going to judge him.

Pam Kojis Seyferth: "Oops. I got caught."
