Just in Time for Those Commit to Get Fit Resolutions -- Free Week of Classes January 10

For the first time ever, BARRE workout classes are coming to Wisconsin.  The Movement Center Pewaukee (formerly Pilates on the Lake) http://www.movementcenterpewaukee.com/ is the first Wisconsin studio to offer BARRE, an athletic workout specifically designed to strengthen and lengthen the body.  Up until now, the closest location for this workout was Chicago.

BARRE, first popularized on the East Coast, is fueled by upbeat music and efficiently flows through each muscle group, creating endurance and stamina through strength training and increased flexibility through stretching. The movements are influenced by classical ballet barre methods, Pilates, yoga, and orthopedic exercises.

The studio's new Movement Center name reflects its expanded fitness offerings and exercise movements beyond Pilates.  Owner Ronda Arndorfer says, "We want to be known for offering more than the best Pilates programs.  Our vision is to offer the best in all movement forms."

Besides offering classes for individuals, the Movement Center will also provide certified BARRE fitness instructor training programs.  While the exercise studio has a new name and expanded number of new classes (including men's only offerings), what hasn't changed is the quality of instructors, the personalized attention students receive and some of the most affordable pricing in the area with an $85 a month unlimited class pass or classes as low as $10 with a no expiration date package.
