La Casa de Esperanza is excited to announce that it will hold a Fiesta Waukesha 5K Run/Walk during its annual community festival on Saturday, June 23, 2012. The 5K
Run/Walk is a great addition to Fiesta Waukesha as it not only promotes family involvement, but encourages the whole community to join together to run or walk
for economically disadvantaged or minority children.
All proceeds from the Run/Walk benefit La Casa’s After School and Summer Program expansion. La Casa is deeply committed to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to achieve academic success and pursue higher education. In keeping with that commitment, La Casa will significantly expand its After School and Summer
programs in 2012 to ensure that economically disadvantaged and minority youth develop the academic and personal leadership skills they need in order to
succeed academically, graduate from high school and pursue higher education.
