8th Annual Sam Beres Soccer Tournament

The Eighth Annual Sam Beres Soccer Tournament will take place on Labor Day weekend, August31-September 1, 2012, at the home field that CMH shares with Waukesha South High School located at 401 E. Roberta Ave., Waukesha. Proceeds will be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin for leukemia research.

The tournament is held in memory of Sam Beres who lost his battle with leukemia in April 2000 at age 6.  Sam Beres was the nephew of Catholic Memorial's (CMH) varsity soccer coach and alumnus, John Bisswurm ’77, and brother of CMH JV soccer coach and alumnus, Jordan Beres ‘09.

The alumni soccer game will follow the championship match. All former players, no matter the age, are encouraged to participate.
