Catholic Memorial Hosting Brown Deer in WIAA Football Playoffs

Waukesha West High School is traveling to Waterford High School as the first round of playoffs begin.

Waukesha West and Catholic Memorial high schools' football teams are ready for the post-season with playoffs beginning Friday.

Seventeen schools within the Milwaukee Patch area are included in this year’s playoff field but Catholic Memorial is one of only two among Division 3 schools. Catholic Memorial is seeded third and takes on sixth-seeded Brown Deer at Carroll University at 7 p.m. Friday.

Waukesha West, which squeaked into the playoffs with a win over Waukesha North High School on Friday, is seeded seventh and faces the second-seed team – Waterford High School – at 7 p.m. Friday at Waterford.

  • Division 1: (5 teams) Menomonee Falls, Sussex Hamilton, Muskego, Oak Creek and Racine Horlick
  • Division 2: (7) Waukesha West, Brookfield Central, Brookfield East, Greendale, Shorewood/Messmer, Wauwatosa West and Whitefish Bay
  • Division 3: Whitnall High School
  • Division 5: (3) Brookfield Academy, Martin Luther and Racine St. Catherine’s
