Can Polo Make a Comeback Here?
A local woman working at the Milwaukee Polo Club in Waukesha County hopes that polo will one day regain the popularity that it once had in this area.
It may seem hard to believe, but there was a time when polo was very popular in the Milwaukee area — and one woman is working in Waukesha County to try to restore the "sport of kings" to where it once was.
Megan Flynn is teaching others how to learn the sport at The Milwaukee Polo Club in Hartland.
"Nobody knows it's here, even the horse people," Flynn told Patch's media partners at WISN 12 News. "We take all ages. You don't have to have ridden a horse before. It doesn't matter. Anyone can learn."
