Attention Bikers: Glacier Drumlin Trail Bridge Closed in Dousman

Bridge deterioration found during construction causes closure.

A section of the Glacial Drumlin State Trail, east between Gramling Road and Indian Point Road in Dousman, will remain closed until Aug. 30.

Workers discovered that the majority of railroad ties and several support timbers were found to have excessive deterioration during work on the first bridge west of Gramling Lane.

The bridge is no longer open on weekends and will remain closed until all work is done.

The Glacial Drumlin State Trail stretches for 52 miles through farmlands and glacial topography, traveling through 10 small towns, flanked by Cottage Grove in Dane County and Waukesha in Waukesha County
