Waukesha North High School’s Interact Club is producing Waukesha Idol, a singing competition based on the popular television show, American Idol.
Waukesha County students in grades K-12 are competing in separate age categories, elementary, middle, and high school. Gift prizes are awarded to the top three elementary places and cash prizes are awarded to the top three places in the middle and high school age groups, $100, $75 and $25.
The Waukesha Idol Final Competiton will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. March 23 in the Waukesha North Auditorium. Proceeds from the Waukesha Idol event support Waukesha North Interact Club’s international project.
