Waukesha String Académie Accepting Enrollment Applications

Applications are due Sept. 20, but students will be accepted in order of registration.

The Waukesha String Académie announces open registration for beginning violin and cello students in grades K5-5. The program, based on the pedagogy of Shinichi Suzuki, Paul Rolland, and Mimi Zweig, is open to students living within School District of Waukesha boundaries.

Students receive one 30-minute private lesson and one 45-minute group lesson weekly from highly-skilled and highly-trained teachers. In addition, mentor lessons with high school violinists and cellists may be available. Parent involvement (required) at lessons and in-home practice is an integral component of the success of this program. Lessons are available at three sites in Waukesha.

  • Book/CD Purchase

  • Yearly (October-May) tuition of $120 – payable in $20 installments at the beginning of October, November, December, January, February, and March (A second or third child in the same family will receive a 20 percent tuition discount, bringing the yearly amount to $96 or installment amount to $16.)
