For the sixth consecutive year, the Waukesha North High School marching band has won the state championship.
North took first place in Class AAAA, the large school division, at Saturday's Wisconsin State Music Association competition at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The Waukesha West marching band finished in second place and Waukesha South took fourth in the AAA division.
Last month, Waukesha North placed first at the MarchFest competition at Waukesha South High School. Here is Patch's photo gallery from that event.
And on Sept. 29, the West band won a competition at Greendale High School.
