Gov. Scott Walker visited his niece's first grade classroom late Friday morning and read to the students at Banting Elementary School.

Walker spent time after reading Oh, The Places You'll Go, and answered questions about where President Barack Obama lives.

The governor was promoting his Read to Lead task force, an initiative to ensure all Wisconsin children learn to read by the third grade, according to a news release.
