A group of Butler Middle School girls were selected for a remarkable opportunity with GE Healthcare and MSOE to learn about careers in STEM fields.

Twenty-six girls from Butler Middle School in Waukesha were chosen for a "GE Girls" project in Milwaukee.

It's one of six GE Girls summer programs around the country, all designed to foster learning and interest in science, technology, engineering and math among young girls.

Milwaukee School of Engineering collaborated with GE Healthcare on the program here in Milwaukee.
