Students Pledge to Keep from Texting and Driving

Students from two Waukesha high schools took a pledge last week to not text while they are driving.

Waukesha North FBLA students Tyler Tessman and Adam Kouhel helped organize the pledge campaign at their school. More than 500 students signed the pledge to keep from texting at driving.

State leaders and local politicians partnered with AT&T to bring an It Can Wait presentation to Waukesha South students to educate them about the dangers of texting while driving.

Students can sign the pledge at www.itcanwait.com .
