School Board Approves Staff Changes for Principals, Others at Waukesha Schools
Changes at Meadowbrook, Horning, STEM and virtual schools.
The Waukesha School Board approved the following staffing changes at its recent meeting:
- A leave of absence for personal reasons effective December 1 until the end of the year for Meadowbrook Elementary School Principal Don Charpentier and his resignation following the leave of absence.
- Jessica Wagner, currently the assistant principal at , will serve as interim principal at Meadowbrook. Steve Fisher, currently district fine arts coordinator, will serve as interim assistant principal at Horning in lieu of Wagner.
- The board also approved new contracts or contract modifications for Joshua Hoffman, fifth grade teacher at , to replace a teacher who is on a leave of absence; and for Tom Clark, seventh grade teacher at , to replace teacher .
- The board also approved the resignations of Horning/South School Psychologist Rebecca Haggith and Penni Uribe, English teacher at .
New Staff for Virtual School
In another staffing matter, the school board approved a logistics and marketing manager for eAchieve Academy.

The staff member’s immediate responsibility will be to recruit students for the 2012-13 school year. Currently, this task is handled by K12, the district’s partner in providing the virtual education, however next year the district will.
Previously, . Next year, instead of , the school will be called eAchieve Academy. The money previously approved by the board for the changes, $460,000, includes $100,000 in salary and benefits for the new staff person.
