Road Closed for Carroll University Commencement on Sunday

A portion of East Avenue will be closed to traffic.

North East Avenue will be closed between College Avenue and McCall Street to traffic from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday for Carroll University's commencement ceremony.

About 650 students will receive their diplomas in a ceremony beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the lawn in front of Main Hall. The graduates include 540 expected to earn bachelor's degrees, 75 expected to earn master's degrees and 30 expected to earn a clinical doctorate in physical therapy degree.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Daniel Von Hoff, a 1969 Carroll graduate and physician in chief at Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) in Phoenix, AZ. He is also chief scientific officer for the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare, and for U.S. Oncology.
