Whiz Kids’ School: Waukesha West High School

Whiz Kids’ Accomplishment: Area youth groups and school groups raised more than $30,000 during the youth bell ringing challenge this past holiday season. The youth organization that raises the most funds during the Red Kettle Campaign is awarded a traveling trophy. These Waukesha West High School students took home the traveling trophy.

Whiz Kids’ Key to Awesomeness: When it came to raising funds to assist the Salvation Army, the Future Business Leaders of America, Interact Club, Key Club and Drama Club worked together to rais more than $8,000 during their play, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

• Brookfield Elementary Cub Scout Pack 55
• Arrowhead High School National Honor Society
• Pewaukee High School National Honor Society
• Waukesha Catholic-St. Mary’s
• 2nd Chance Partners for Education
• Kids Connection Child Care

Additionally, Waukesha County schools also took part in a challenge to collect food items for the Salvation Army’s food pantry. All the area schools combined to bring more than 7,000 food items to the Salvation Army food pantry.

Hillside Elementary School, , University Lake School and were also recognized for their exemplary food drives.
