Winter Symposium

HAWS Behavior Department is pleased to present the Winter Symposium, an education event focusing on alternative approaches to companion animal care, management and training.  This event will appeal to trainers, behaviorists, veterinary practitioners and dog sport enthusiasts, as well as pet owners who have an interest in the topic areas.

The 3 topic areas interrelate to form a balanced perspective of care for companion and competition animals of all ages.  Information lectures are supported by PowerPoint.  Clinicians will work with live animals to teach participants rehabilitation and body work techniques in small groups.

Companion Animal Nutrition explores the importance of diet to gene expression, the effects of different pet foods on body systems, nutritional deficiency syndromes and the actions of whole foods within the body.  Clinician: Tom Cameron, DVM, Standard Process
