"Vision Problems and Learning: Why Bright Students Struggle in School"

Dr. Kellye Knueppel, a developmental optometrist at the Vision Therapy Center, will offer her insights into the connection between vision problems in students and learning.  As many as 1 in 4 children have a vision problem that affects their ability to learn.  Dr. Knueppel will speak on these topics, as well as what symptoms to look for in your child and the visual stressors in a classroom setting that could affect your child.  A Q&A session will be included and hand-outs will be available.
