The 4th annual GEMS conference, features keynote speaker Jesse Ritka,Meteorologist from TMJ4 Milwaukee. This conference brings girls, parents,teachers, community leaders, and professional women together in an effort
to increase young women’s knowledge and awareness of math, science, and technology careers in a fun, hand-on setting. Empower girls with an enlightening and affordable day-long series of workshops designed to spark middleschool girls’ interest in math, science, engineering and technology. Experience what it is like to be a veterinarian, design your own food flavors with a food
scientist, and explore the world of x-rays with a radiologist. With over 20 workshops, you will explore a variety of exciting STEM professions! Conference includes an opening session, workshops, a special luncheon and closing
presentation.
