April 15, 2011, Friday,  7:30AM - 6:30PM

Take a day to learn the rich European history right in our own state!  Delve into the unique heritage, their homes, farms, churches, traditions and food of Czechoslovakia.  Begin the day with a visit with coffee, juice and Koalaches while you tour the 1906 barn which has been adaptively re-used to house a herd of Alpaca; step into the old Square silo converted to an outdoor paradise in the summer and tour the recently reconstructed log building which is home of Wool 'n Suds. Experience the world of fiber with spinning and weaving demonstrations and even try your hand at felting!  Eat lunch in an 1876 historic farmstead and a enjoy performance by the Wisconsin Czech Choraliers. Visit cheese store, a pastry shop where you can purchase Kolaches, breads, and other pastry delights, or wait for the meat market, where you can find some of the world's best ethnic meats.  Make a final stop at St. Lawrence Church, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, to learn the history of Czech settlements before returning home.
