Conversations with Aging Parents

Are you concerned that your aging parent or loved one is no longer safe living alone in their home? Could they benefit from a more supportive and caring environment? Unfortunately fear and anxiety can hold us back from taking the steps we know would be beneficial for those we love. It can also be overwhelming to manage the emotion of moving a loved one along with coordinating the sale of a home.

Please join us for a FREE informational program presented by Adele Lund, Laureate Group’s Senior Housing Professional. She will provide information on choosing the right housing option as well as practical tips to guide you through a smooth transition. She’ll provide answers to questions such as:
• What are the signs that your loved one may need some assistance?
• How can I have a loving conversation about the need for change?
• How can I make this a collaborative process?
• What are my housing/care options?
• Selling a home: what are the pros and cons of waiting for the
market to turn or selling now?
• Should we sell the home first or move first?
• What additional resources are available to make the whole
transition process easier?

If you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin the process, allow us to help. You want what’s best for your loved one. We want to share our expertise to make this transition a smooth and positive experience. Allow us to help you shed the guilt and gain peace of mind.
