District Hires New Principal for Rose Glen

Meadowbrook teacher approved for elementary school administrator post.

The Waukesha School Board approved Wednesday night the hiring of a new principal for .

The board approved the Human Resource Committee's recommendation to hire Melissa Nikolic, currently an instructional resource teacher at Meadowbrook Elementary School. Nikolic has masters' degrees in administrative leadership and exceptional education. Previously, she was a teacher at Pleasant Hill and Summit View elementary schools.

Nikolic will replace principal Jill Ries, who was very briefly slated to be principal at Rose Glen, after being moved there from Whittier. Ries left for a job with another district.
