Congressman Ryan Nominates Waukesha Student to Military Academies

Waukesha South High School student was interviewed and evaluated in the fall.

A student was nominated by U.S. Rep Paul Ryan, R-Janesville, to appointments at four different military academies

Maximillian Evans-Nolan was nominated for appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, according to a news release from Ryan.

“It’s a privilege to recognize these students for their solid records of achievement and nominate them to attend our nation’s military service academies,” Ryan said in the news release. “I know these students will excel at these institutions if they are accepted, will be able to meet the rigorous requirements set by the academies and will serve our nation with honor.”

Evans-Nolan was interviewed and evaluated in the fall by the Service Academy Nomination Advisory, a group of veterans, past academy graduates, local public officials and educators who were appointed by Ryan.
