Waukesha County Board Chairman Hosts Economic Development Summit

Waukesha County Board Chairman Paul Decker gathered leaders in economic development Monday to discuss the creation of a website.

Waukesha County Board Chairman Paul Decker gathered leaders in economic development Monday to discuss the creation of a website that will leverage resources and strengthen regional assets of the organizations that promote economic development in the county.

“The vision is to tie the primary economic development entities of Waukesha County through a communal portal that strengthens our combined position on the web and makes it easier for our customers and future clients to find exactly what they need,” said Chairman Decker. “We are stronger together than we are apart.”

NeoCloud, a Waukesha County based internet marketing consulting firm, presented a mock-up of the website and illustrated how it could be fashioned to meet each organization’s needs.  Jason Schultz, Managing Member of NeoCloud, said in the new Internet world websites need to be “fast, dynamic and fun.” Having all the economic development entities under one web umbrella would be a great asset to those looking to expand their business or relocate in Waukesha County.
