Xperience Fitness May Move Into Old Kmart Building

A developer is looking to renovate the vacant Kmart building into several commercial units.

Xperience Fitness might one of the new tenants at the former Kmart building, reported the Business Journal. 

The Waukesha Kmart building, 120 E. Sunset Drive, has been vacant for more than a year. Endeavour Corporation is purchasing the property and is renovating the former Kmart building into several commercial units that may include Xperience Fitness. 

The city is looking to provide a $2.6 million pay as you go tax incremental financing incentive to help the $13 million renovation.

Xperience Fitness signed a letter of intent for about 40,000 square feet of the building, reported the Business Journal. 

The gym has a smaller space on West Sunset Drive and would move into the larger space.

There are currently 10 operating Xperience gyms in the state.
