WI Governor Coming to Waukesha Today

Gov. Scott Walker is coming to Weldall Manufacturing this afternoon to make a job creation announcement at 2:30 p.m.

Weldall Manufacturing is located at 2001 S. Prairie Ave.

While other places in the community have felt the affects of the recession – such as Westwood Aluminum Castings, – Weldall Manufacturing is expanding by 76,000 square feet and will add 75 jobs from the expansion.

Weldall Manufacturing entered into a tax incremental financing agreement with the in 2010. The expansion includes $975,000 in funding from the city that will be paid back through the increased property taxes. The property value is to increase by $6.5 million.
