Who Won the Waukesha County Executive Awards?

Dan Vrakas announces this year's award winners.

County Executive Daniel P. Vrakas announced on Tuesday the 2013 County Executive Award winners. The winners are: 

An independent panel of judges that includes business executives, community leaders and past award winners, select award recipients each year. 

“We received many outstanding nominees for the County Executive Awards this year,” Vrakas said. “The number of exceptional business, government and nonprofit agencies available to residents in Waukesha County make all of us very proud.”

The winners will be honored at the eighteenth annual County Executive Awards Luncheon at the Country Springs, Waukesha, on Thursday, October 10. Registration will start at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 12 p.m.

 Gale E. Klappa, President and CEO of Wisconsin Energy Corporation and We Energies, will be the keynote speaker. Klappa received the 2012 Responsible CEO of the Year Award by Corporate Responsibility magazine for his commitment to transparency, accountability and customer satisfaction.  At the event, Klappa’s keynote address will focus on creative innovations and a commitment to sustainability.
