Waukesha Woodman’s Site Identified

A news release from the mayor states he encouraged Woodman’s in 2010 to locate a grocery story in Waukesha.

“Mayor Scrima has been a driving force behind Woodman’s decision to locate a store in the city of Waukesha,” said Clint Woodman, vice president of the employee-owned grocery story chain, in the news release. “Woodman’s takes nothing for granted and looks forward to working with the City to obtain the necessary entitlements for construction and operation of our proposed facilities.”

Woodman’s is expected to begin construction in 2012, pending all government approvals, the news release states.

 “This has been and will continue to be a team effort,” Scrima said in the release. “We look forward to the quality of products, economic revitalization and jobs that Woodman’s will provide to our community.”
