Earlier on Tuesday, Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas said he hoped there would be a high turnout countywide, especially since it was a nice day outside.

“I am going to say over 50 percent in the county,” Vrakas said. “I hope it is more, it should be more. Wisconsin in general has one of the highest of percentages of people that turn out.

“It must be a Midwest thing because all the polls I see show that Minnesota and Wisconsin continue to lead the country in voter turnout. I would hope it would be high.”
