Rep. Kramer: Walker's Budget Offers Innovative Solutions

Assemblyman from Waukesha commends governor's budget in statement.

State Rep. Bill Kramer, R-Waukesha, issued this statement in response to :

“I commend Governor Walker for his plan to address Wisconsin’s $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes or spending money we don’t have.  The fact is, Wisconsin is broke and it’s time to tackle our budget crises head on.

“For too long, previous administrations and Legislatures of both parties passed the debt along with repeated raids on segregated funds, excessive borrowing and dependency on federal dollars.  In order to correct the problems with our budget, we must make some very difficult decisions.  We can no longer kick the can down the road.  These budget gimmicks only made the problems worse and drove us further into debt.
