Newest Alderman Is Decorated Army Veteran

Adam Jankowski was appointed to the Waukesha Common Council Tuesday night to replace Brian White, who died while in office.

Adam Jankowski’s childhood in Manitowoc made an impression as he listened to people complain about city government. He’s now living in Waukesha with his wife and children and he wanted to become a member of the Common Council for his kids.

Essentially, instead of complaining about problems, he wants to contribute toward the solution, Jankowski told members of the Common Council Tuesday night.

The council appointed Jankowski, a decorated Army veteran who served in Iraq, to fill the District 6 seat after the untimely death of former Alderman Brian White.
