New Health and Human Services Director Appointed in Waukesha County

Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas announced the appointment of Antwayne Robertson as Director of the Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Robertson will replace the current Director, Peter Schuler, who is retiring Tuesday after 29 years with Waukesha County.

“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Antwayne Robertson as our new Director of Health and Human Services," Vraks said.  "Antwayne’s many years of experience both within government and in the private sector have made him a perfect fit to lead the County’s largest department. He is highly respected by his peers and by the employees within the Department and will do a fantastic job serving Waukesha County citizens in his new role."

HHS is a county agency providing a wide range of confidential services designed to enhance the physical and emotional functioning of individuals and families in Waukesha County. The position of director is appointed by the county executive and confirmed by the Waukesha County Board.
