It's Official: Roger Patton Re-Elected Alderman in Downtown Waukesha

Recount in April 2 election gives Alderman Roger Patton one more vote over Lenny Miller.

Roger Patton gained one more vote during Friday’s recount of the April 2 election, officially winning re-election.

Patton defeated Lenny Miller – who also challenged him in April 2012 – 203 to 195 votes.

Miller was surprised by the results on April 2, he said, because people he had spoken with during the election shared their hopes for a new alderman in the downtown district.

“I just want to rule out any machine errors and human errors,” Miller told Patch last week. “I don’t suspect fraud or anything, I just want to make sure everything was done and that no mistakes were made.”
