Generac Hiring Hundreds in Waukesha Area

Gov. Scott Walker joins Generac CEO in announcing new job opportunities in southeastern Wisconsin.

Gov. Scott Walker and Generac CEO Aaron Jagfeld announced Monday morning the creation of 300 to 400 jobs in the Waukesha, Whitewater and Eagle areas, according to a news release.

Generac will add 300 to 400 new jobs in Waukesha, Whitewater, and Eagle.They will also add at least 50 new jobs at Magnum Products in Berlin, Wisconsin.

“I want to thank Generac for their commitment to Wisconsin and for growing their business here,” Walker said.  “They will hire hundreds of new workers in family-supporting jobs in both engineering and manufacturing.  This is great news for Wisconsin families.”

In response to increased demand, Generac must fill many of the jobs in the next 90 days.  The company will be holding an Engineering Job Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at its Waukesha headquarters located at S45 W29290 Highway 59 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The job fair will be an opportunity for prospective employees to talk with engineers and hiring managers about Generac’s career opportunities.

Positions range from entry level to management and include engineers, designers, technicians and more.
