Cookout for a Cause

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department will be having a cookout on Thursday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The proceeds will benefit the 4 year old son of a Deputy who was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia, a rare bone marrow disease. They will be serving brats and burgers with the sides. The cost is $5.00. The cookout will be located at the main entrance of the Sheriff’s Department (Horseshoe parking area).   Deputies will be serving anyone who would like “drive thru” service.

Donors can drop off donations at the Sheriff’s Department or call the Sheriff’s Department (548-7126) to have them pick up your money.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Schueller family to help with the financial impact.
