Council Meeting Canceled, Aldermanic Appointment Delayed

With no quorum for Thursday's Common Council meeting, Waukesha residents in District 6 will have to wait longer an alderman to be appointed.

Residents in District 6 will have to wait a little while longer to get a new alderman.

The Common Council meeting on Thursday where the council was scheduled to vote on appointing a new alderman has been canceled because there was not a quorum. The next council meeting is being held on July 17.

The seat is vacant because Alderman Brian White, who was elected to the seat in April 2011, passed away in May
