Concealed Carry Discussion on Council Agenda

Waukesha board recommending allowing weapons in City Hall.

The Waukesha Common Council is being asked to approve allowing concealed weapons in when it takes up the issue during its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Board of Public Works is recommending that the city allow concealed weapons in its buildings. The state law allowing for concealed carry went into affect earlier this month. Unless signs are posted on buildings prohibiting it, concealed carry is allowed in municipal buildings with the exception of the police station.
