But the city is preparing for the warmer weather and its 2011 construction projects.

The Common Council was being asked last week to approve a list of road projects, but that . The projects will be on the next Common Council agenda on Feb. 17.

The funding for the projects was approved in the 2011 budget.

The following is from a city document:

Minor Reconstruction

  • Franklin Avenue from West College Avenue to Elizabeth Street
  • Hamilton Avenue from Dunbar Avenue to Franklin Avenue
  • Dunbar Avenue from West College Avenue to Marshall Street
  • Rosemary Street from Arcadian Avenue to National Avenue.

Resurfacing

  • Grandview Court from South Grandview Boulevard to the cul-de-sac
  • South Grandview Boulevard from Cambridge Avenue to Madison Street and from MacArthur Road to Howard Street
  • MacArthur Court from MacArthur Road to cul-de-sac
  • MacArthur Road from Burrie Lane to West St. Paul Avenue.
  • North and South Moreland Boulevard from Dopp Street to Michigan Avenue.

Miscellaneous city-funded projects

  • Milky Way Road from south of Legend Lane to north of Hunter Road
  • West Sunset Drive and South West Avenue (intersection widening and reconstruction)
  • Ten alleys are also slated for reconstruction and rehabilitation
