120 Acres Could Move from Town to City
Hobby Lobby plans also come before the council at its regular Tuesday meeting.
The city will annex almost 120 acres of Town of Waukesha land if the Common Council approves two requests at its meeting Tuesday.
One request is for two parcels at the northwest Corner of Genesee Road and Les Paul Parkway, totaling about 79 acres. The other is at Sunset Drive, east of Merrill Hills Road and west of Pebble Creek, according to ordinances being considered Tuesday.

- Ald. Paul Ybarra will be recognized for his seven years of service on the council. He is resigning to spend more time with his family.
- The council will vote on whether to issue $10 million in general obligation bonds for the water utility.
- Plans to build a Hobby Lobby at the Shoppes of Fox River come before the council. Β The Plan Commission already approved changes to the Planned Unit Development (PUD).
